CHRISTIAN MUSIC

Many times in the Bible when someone had an encounter with God, they would build an alter.  These alters not only had the practical use of providing a space for sacrifice, but also had the symbolic purpose of "bookmarking" their encounter.  They could come back and remember it, or even invite a skeptical friend with them to the alter, to give tangible evidence of the encounter.  Many of Todd's songs function in the same way as these alters. Some express an encounter with God, others the process of seeking Him, and still others, the despair without Him.  All of them represent real experiences around the idea and Person of God, that he invites all to come to, in hopes that it may color their own journey with or without God.
